WAEC Releases Provisional Results For 2024 WASSCE Private Candidates.

WAEC Releases 2024 WASSCE Private Candidates' Results The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published the provisional results for the 2024 WASSCE for Private Candidates (Second Series). Out of 38,316 candidates who registered, 17,596 were male and 21,131 were female. However, 1,354 candidates did not attend the exams.  Due to cases of malpractice, WAEC has withheld the subject results of 303 candidates and the full results of 108 candidates for further investigations. Results are available online at www.waecgh.org. In English Language, 54.79% of candidates scored A1-C6, while 13.45% earned F9. For Core Mathematics, 37.44% achieved A1-C6, and 37.42% received F9.  In Integrated Science, 53.31% scored A1-C6, while 18.46% got F9. Social Studies had the best performance, with 87.88% earning A1-C6 and only 5.76% scoring F9. In an official statement, KNUST revealed that its Security Services received a report of an unresponsive body near the Disability and Rehabilitation Centre at approximately 5:00 a.m. on February 27, 2025.  The deceased was promptly transported to the University Health Services, where medical personnel officially pronounced her dead.
