"No New School Will Be Built Without Teachers’ Accommodation"

President John Mahama has pledged to prioritize the welfare of teachers by ensuring that every new school built in the country will include dedicated accommodation for teachers.

This commitment highlights the government's acknowledgment of the vital role educators play in shaping the nation’s future.

A New Chapter for Teacher Welfare

The decision to integrate teachers' accommodations into new school projects marks a significant milestone in enhancing the education system in Ghana.

By providing suitable living conditions, the government seeks to improve teacher morale and motivation, ultimately fostering better performance in the classroom.

This initiative is expected to positively influence student learning and academic outcomes.

Rural Teachers to Receive 20% Allowance

In addition to providing housing, President Mahama announced a 20% allowance for teachers working in rural areas. This initiative aims to attract and retain skilled educators in underserved regions where their presence is most needed.

A Holistic Approach to Education Reform

President Mahama’s focus on teacher welfare aligns with a broader strategy to reform the education sector.

By addressing the needs of educators, the government aims to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that benefits all students.

This commitment reflects a forward-thinking approach to achieving educational excellence in Ghana.
