Cassandra Twum Ampofo Named Among Ghana’s Top 10 Female PR Practitioners for the Third Time.Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of Public Relations at the Ghana Education Service (GES), has once again been recognized as one of Ghana’s leading PR professionals.
This marks the third time she has been named among the Top 10 Women in PR Ghana, further cementing her influence in the field of communications.
The recognition, organized by Women in PR Ghana, celebrates outstanding female professionals who have made significant contributions to public relations through strategic campaigns, impactful storytelling, and brand management. Cassandra first earned this honor in 2019, followed by another in 2020, and her latest achievement reinforces her expertise in stakeholder engagement and public sector communication.
Expressing her gratitude, Cassandra shared, “This achievement is not just mine—it’s proof that dedication, passion, integrity, and consistency pay off. A heartfelt thank you to Women in PR Ghana for this incredible recognition. To my colleagues, mentors, and everyone who has shaped my career, I am deeply grateful.”

Selection Process for the Recognition
According to a statement from Women in PR Ghana, a six-member jury carried out a rigorous selection process, assessing candidates based on leadership, innovation, strategic communication, digital influence, and mentorship.
The 2024 edition received 26 nominations, with finalists meeting key criteria, including:
•At least six years of experience in public relations or communications
•Successful execution of campaigns for organizations or clients
•Effective use of traditional and digital media to amplify PR efforts
•Recognition through awards or nominations for personal or organizational work
•Engagement in public speaking opportunities
•Mentorship and support for other PR professionals
•Leadership in initiatives that promote public relations in Ghana and beyond
Cassandra’s recognition highlights the vital role of PR professionals in shaping public discourse and strengthening institutional engagement.
Her continued excellence serves as an inspiration for both emerging and experienced communication professionals.
