The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has decided to suspend its strike after an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) on Friday, March 28, 2025.The move is intended to allow further dialogue with relevant authorities to address the concerns that led to the industrial action.
In a statement signed by Executive Secretary Isaac Bampoe Addo, the association urged its members to return to work on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
The suspension of the strike is expected to restore normal operations in the civil and local government sectors, which had been impacted by the protest.
CLOGSAG reiterated its commitment to fostering industrial peace while pursuing improved working conditions for its members.
