This year's theme is "Our Commonwealth Journey," reflecting the collective progress, shared values, and future aspirations of the Commonwealth.

The competition is designed to engage young people across the Commonwealth in critical thinking and creative writing on themes of global importance.

The Ghana Education Service wishes to inform all first and second cycle institutions about this competition, and Regional Directors of Education are requested to bring it to the attention of all Heads of institutions within their jurisdiction.

Eligible students are encouraged to submit their essays via email to competitions@royalcwsociety.org by May 23, 2025.
