According to the update, from January to March 2025, a total of 1,579 salary reactivation requests were submitted to the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD).
Of these, 1,417 cases have already been successfully resolved. GES acknowledged the impact such delays have on staff morale and productivity and expressed appreciation for the patience of affected employees.
Management also highlighted ongoing collaborative efforts with the Public Services Commission, the CAGD, and various teacher unions to ensure that all outstanding concerns are resolved as soon as possible.
These include not only salary issues but also delayed promotions and upgrading across all ranks.
