  GNAT Sets April 30 Deadline for GES to Address Promotion Delays or Face Nationwide Strike The education sector is on edge as the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has issued a firm ultimatum to the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Public Services Commission, demanding immediate action on delayed teacher promotions.  If no progress is made by Tuesday, April 30, 2025, GNAT says it will initiate a nationwide strike. GNAT's General Secretary, Thomas Tanko Musah, made this known in an interview with 3news.com on April 23.  He warned that failure to resolve the issue would make the GES and Public Services Commission fully responsible for any disruptions in May.
